Uganda Motorcycle Tour | 20.02.20 - 01.03.2020

Updated: Jun 5, 2024

Uganda was my 100th country with motorcycle... and one of the most exotic countries where I have been driving. It's green, friendly, awesome, sunny and hilly with roads to every taste and skill levels. It has also wonderful lodges with good food. But maybe the biggest positive surprise was the amount of wildlife in Uganda's national parks. Murchison Falls NP and Queen Elizabeth NP are hidden pearls of Africa which are as great as Serengeti, Masai Mara and Kruger if not better.

In Uganda the wildlife was everywhere, and I was able to see the 'big five' and endless number of other animals in the Uganda Nature Parks. The gravel roads, yeah! Those roads took us into the remote areas of Uganda, i.e the mountains between Ruanda and Uganda. The very same place where famous movie "Gorillas in the Mist" (sumuisten vuorten gorilla…
