Sticky-sweet muffins... Yummy... 

In Europe American motels and also often mid-range hotels are famous from their terrible ''including the price' breakfasts! Or what do you think about a 'buffet' which includes sticky-sweet muffins and pastries with all possible E-codes... and individually wrapped in plastic! And those you can wash down with orange sugar water they call juice... in a disposable cup of course! And a disposable plate of heavily sugared cereals and an ultra sweet yogurt... if yogurts exist!

After your 1st experience of a 'Sticky-sweet muffins' -breakfast you probably want to go next morning to an American old school diner. Those you can find in every town. They are not a health choice either... but good :] ... and her you have a short manual to understand the menu and or the staff!

EGGS for beginners!

° Sunny side up = Egg fried only from one side

° Over easy = Egg fried on both sides but with soft inside

° Poached egg = Egg boiled without the shell

° Eggs Benedict = a dish consisting of poached eggs and sliced ham on toasted muffins, covered with hollandaise sauce.

° Boiled Egg = Boiled Egg :)

° Omelet = Omelet

POTATOES for beginners!

° Home Fries = Classic fried potatoes

° Hash Browns or just 'Hash' = Something between fried and mashed potatoes

° Curly fries = fries which look like an old style shock absorber

° Fries = French fries

° Pancakes = Small pancakes made of potato

° Burger patty = minced meat 'burger steak'

° Link sausage = minced meat sausage

° Pancake = Thick US pancake with ingredients on it

° Crepe = Thin French pancake with ingredients inside
