Day 2 ° Marrakesh - High Atlas - Ouarzazate

Show time. We pick up our bikes and head up... up to the High Atlas mountains. And yes, it's a great ride from bend to bend on reasently updated N9 road. On the other side of the mountains we shut down our engines at Ouarzazate. Here we experiencee a part of Hollywood in Africa at Oscar Studios. These studios are a home of many Hollywood movies also!
Day 3 ° Ouarzazate - Merzouga - Sahara

Today we head towards Sahara desert and at the end of the day we are there. On the way a lot of peacuful Morocan countryside. Into Sahara we don't drive with our motorbikes. No, we change them to camels in Merzouga! Your hotel today is a luxorious 5 start tent with all the facilities in our desert camp!
Day 4 ° Merzouga - Errachidia - Midelt

Today we drive over the Small Atlas mountains. But if you want, you can start your day with an ADV. With one hour dune fun run. In the small town Merzouga is located also Morocco's National Auto museum. It's not too big, so we will have time to visit it before hiting the road! Overnight today at Midelt!
Day 5 ° Midelt - Ifrane - Fez

Ski Morocco! Yes, it is possible, not today but in January and February! However, we will visit today Morocco's ski resort no 1, Michlifen Ski Resort. You will see today also Ifrane city, which is like a piece of old France... and it is also in a way. Morocco was under France until 1956. And from Ifrane we ride to the fasinating Fez. Here you find Morocco's biggest Medina!
Day 6 ° Fez

A day of. And a day when you can freely get lost in labyrints of Medina (old city). But we anyway start our day with a 2-3 hour Medina tour with a local guide! One 'must do' in Fez is visiting a leather tannery! That we will do on our tour... among many other things. Rest of the day is your own time!
Day 8 ° Chefhaouen - Rabat - Casablanca

Time to ride to the shores of Atlantic Ocean and to the old but very modern Casablanca. Maybe the most famous city in Morocco. Today you will visit on the way also Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Both cities are very different from what you have seen so far, even you have allready noticed that Morocco has many faces.
Day 10 ° Casablanca - Boujad - Imilchil

Back to the beautiful countryside. And at the end of the driving day we start to climb up to the Atlas-mountains again! Our destination is today small Imilchil. Not famous from any hollywood movie. Imilchil is 2000 meters above Casablanca, so yes, the weather is more fresh here!
Day 11 ° Imilchil - Gorges - Boumalde Dades

This is one of the most beautiful driving days. We drive up to the highest point on our Morocco adventure, to Col de Tizi, which is 2645m above Casablanca. From there we roll down to magnificent Todra Gorge... Grand Canyon of Morocco. Our great driving day willl end today to Boumalde Dades. But before that we will visit an other famous place at Atlas Mountains, Gorges Dades!
Day 12 ° B. Dades - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Also every fun tour have an end. Officially it's to morrow, but the last driving day is today! We cross the awesome Atlas-mountains last time and Marrakesh is in front of us on the afternoons second half! Before closing dinner we visit always busy exotic Jamaa El-Fnaa, the main square of Marrakesh!

We ride on 100% paved roads. A mix of, excellent highways, winding mountain roads and remote rural roads. Most of them in very good condition and some in a bit of less good condition.
What are the main riding highlights of the tour?
Some unforgettable experiences like riding through the Atlas Mountains with endless curves. Sahara Desert, its dunes and a luxury desert camp overnight with a Camel experience in the desert. You will cross awesome Atlas-mountains 3 times. And you will also have 2 dramatic gorges, Todgha Gorge and Gorges de Dadès.
Is this tour right for me?
Shortly yes, if you have some years of motorcycle touring experience. As well you need a good traffic reading skill. And in Morocco traffic is not just something moving with an engine. No, there are also a lot of donkeys, lambs, dogs and kids on the road sides. And in the cities traffic is much more creative than in Europe. But yes, in the countryside traffic is very light.
Do I need a visa to Morocco?
If you have an EU-passport the answer is no. You can stay up to 90 days without visa. Also with the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and UK passports you can stay visa free up to 90 days. Same goes for the Middle East countries. Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia. And also
for Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and most Latin American countries can enter visa-free for up to 90 days. So yes, Morocco is happy to see you!

No, there is not a support car so all what you need is traveling with you on the bike.
What is the weather like in Morocco?
It’s possible to ride in Morocco all year around. But winters can be very cold on the mountains and summers too hot. So we travel to Morocco in the spring and autumn during months 3-5 and 9-11 when daytime temperatures are mainly 20–30°C and it’s generally dry and sunny conditions. Rain is possible but rare during our travel months.
