Short History of World's First Motorcycles

The world's first models of Homo Sapiens came from Africa 200 000 years ago. The world's 1st motorcycle came from Germany 198112 years later, 1888! And it was not a Harley as Peter's grandmother believed. It was a 264cc Daimler-Reitwagen with 0,5 horsepower's engine. The year was 1888. Indian, Peugeot and Royal Enfield came to the market in 1901. Clement - Gerrand, Norton and Triumph came in 1903. First Harley Davidson and Husqvarna came in 1903.
